Plans for the summer??

After experiencing my first winter in over 2 years (thank you San Diego), I am more than excited for the upcoming spring/summer. Does anyone have any cool plans for this summer? Mine pretty much involve daily frisbee golf sessions, camping in Northern Minnesota, and drinking lots of beer.

I'll at least be hitting Amsterdam and Paris. I have a college friend who has a Qui-Gong/Acupuncture practice in Switzerland so I might visit him, and a HS friend in Oslo I might visit. It is pretty open right now, the only definites are Paris and Amsterdam.

It sounds like you know Europe really well- from this and previous posts. What would you recommend for someone who's never been. I'm thinking about going within the next year or so and want to tour Italy for sure, but am not sure what else is good to visit and what's overrated.

For those of you heading up to the BWCA, check out the tuscarora lake area (40 miles up the gunflint). Dope spot. Lil Saganawga is close by.

Oh and compare to Bozeman, Butte is shitsville USA. That town has some of the worst water contamination in the country. They mined away a whole side of a mountain for copper and created a lake of arsenic and poison! You can't even touch the water. Some geese flocked to it once, and when they flew away, they dropped from the sky dead as fuck. No Bullshit...

I'm way stronger on domestic travel than international.

Of all the places I've been in europe, which isnt many, Rome and Florence were my favorite.

I toured italy for a month for my first europe trip. It pretty much convinced me that I needed to sell everything and move there asap, which I didnt do since at the time "everything" would have netted me all of $500.

As far as what you should do first, that totally depends on what kind of person you are and what you want to do in europe. I will say that you need to do what most people do not, and that is give places the proper respect and see what there is to see- i.e. don't go to london for 48 hours or try to mash in as much as possible in the shortest amount of time- you're only short chaning yourself.

Plans for this summer..
I'll be in Cincinnati until May 6th so until then..
- Going to as many hardcore shows as I can, because Cincy has a great HxC scene and MN has like none.
- Hanging out with my friends in Cincy as much as I can until I leave.
- Coming back home.
- Finding a place for me and the boyfriend.
- Get a new job
- Celebrate "our" birthday.. (me and the boyfriend have the same birthday)
- Apply for schools to start in the fall.
- Start going to Hip Hop shows again.. Miss that a lot.
- Come back to Cincy for Scribble Jam.
- Probably take a trip to Chicago.. and Canada.

Thats about it.
Next winter.. Hopefully go on cruise.
