I'm down 750 out of 1000 of the Odds and Ends CD at $5 a unit. Profit is about...130%?
30 Get My Cash shirts at $5.50 a unit. That's Wallabee and whiskey money, nothing special.
Adam is running the biz on the LPB CD, but I did aiight on that one, too.

Maybe $3,000 in performance fees this year.
But the best part is, people can walk into Cheapo, the biggest musical retailer in the city, and see:

DJ Aaron Money.

My shit was in the listening stations and I didn't lift a finger.

Not bad, considering I have a fairly demanding day job and I'm not really seeking out DJ work or pushing my CDs. Checks just show up in the mail. And I'm not even really working at this. I get on the bus for work in the morning and dig on the weekends when I have time.

I checked some stores and didn't see any "A-Liberation" CDs in the racks. I even looked under "Hip Hop AAA".

Do the math-I'm paying for grad school without even thinking about it, rookie card. I was getting dough doing shows here while you were in junior high. I was DJing when you were learning cursive, toy.You pay for shows-I'm guest list. You talk shit on the Internet, I back it up. Your "style" is funny and runny, new jack.

Ask around-people know. I was around at house parties and dirty ass underground shows years ago. I knew a lot of people you jock when they rode the bus and freestyled. I did it. Beat Box? I'm the reason that shit is there-even though it's wack now.

You're young and fired up, and I think it's fantastic-but you're getting too big for your britches, young. Give yourself four or five years, you'll learn a lot.

Really, here's some advice: Stay in your place and watch the grown folks get dough and do things, let the air out of your head, get a suit and get it tapered up, dude. Maybe you can learn and do well, I think you can.

a) i enjoy the occasional comp or guest list spot as much as the next guy, and i've been able to check out some decent shows and new acts that i otherwise may not have because of them... but refusing to go to a show if you have to pay for it? that's some weak shit. and that's putting it lightly. if you can't get into the ID shows or you simply can't afford to support, just say so, instead of fooling yourself with fake acclaim and connections. this goes for everyone. not just A-you-know-who.

b) pure speculation, but i don't think crowdrocka's claims are out of the question. it would indeed explain his sheer confidence that nothing physical could come of his talking shit. he knows that the second anyone lays a finger on him, Sgt.
