Haven't read the football preview? Read It Here. (http://www.dunation.com/pages/sports/football2002.shtml)
I thought it was tight! Except who wrote it? Did you Hype? if you did, you didn't put your name on your work!
The thing I hated about it was the prediction that the Rams win. I hate the rams. Can't we go back to the dayz when the Rams were worse than the Cardinals? What are the Cardinals goona be the next big team?? That would suck too... tongue.gif

Come on Hype!
Good job on the football preview, but c'mon, you gotta know that the team to beat this year are the Denver Broncos....
Yeah I know, Im from MN and should be a Vikes fan, but I been down with the Bronc's since birth...
You had a pretty good write up of them but I want to clarify some things...
Griese is coming back stronger this year, in his first couple of years in Elway's shadow he had an attitude problem, and wasn't focused on the team like he should be..It is widely reported that Griese has had a huge turn around in his attitude and also Steve Buerlien is back from his elbow injury and is actually challenging Griese for the starting job which should light a fire under Griese's ass and make him play much more focused.
You also left out my man Rod Smith, he was THE offense last year...McCaffrey was out all last year and the running backs were injured off and on, Smith was really the only constant on a shaken up Denver team and he still posted marquee numbers...And may I add, he was playing on two sprained ankles for most of the year...
McCaffrey is coming back off of a broken leg, and is listed at 100% so he should once again regain prominance as a over the middle receiver....
Ashley Lelie is listed as the fastest player on the Broncos roster posting 40 times at about 4.2..He has blazing speed and obviously Shannahan saw something in this youngster to draft him as high as he did...Can everyone say "Second Coming of Randy Moss?"
Running backs
Mike Anderson, they moved him to fullback due to his size and with his speed and reliable hands Shannahan will have 2 very fast and reliable backs in many of his offensive schemes...
Olandis Gary is back this year after being hobble with knee ailments, he has shown flashes of brillance as a back up and a replacement to Terrell Davis when TD went down with his numerous knee problems, his only question is his tendency to fumble
Clinton Portis, this guy is a beast, he came from Miami where he was the guy in the backfield...Many top NFL insiders and broadcasters are already deeming him the next Barry Sanders with his side to side elusive slashing style of running....
The Denver Broncos offensive line is legendary, they will keep the QB's protected....
Remember Willie Middlebrooks? The standout D-Back from the U of M? Well he has shown marked improvement since last year and could see himself in the starting role this year....
They moved Trevor Pryce from DT to DE utilizing his size and making him more danger to sack the QB
They also have probably the number 1 kicker in the league in Jason Elam...He tied the NFL record for longest kick at 63 yards...He has been one of the most consistant kickers in the league and has come through on many occasions
