G.M as the Vikings?

We are going into the draft with a top 6 pick, and Culpepper is up for a new contract. Randy Moss hasnt done anything since his new contract.
And the defense is kinda getting better with Hovan and Beckert. Build around them?
Bennett comes off a solid year.
Also the city wont build you a new stadium so your stuck in the dome, which is good for NFL football anyway. Build a new one?

Heres what I would do. As much as Daunte was a great QB in the leuage, he also had a great O-Line blocking for him and weapons galore in Carter/Smith/Moss/Reed/Palmer now he has Moss and no O-Line and is making bad decsions every game.
So I say sign and trade Daunte and start over with one of the QB's coming out of the draft.
Then dangle Moss up for trade and see what we can get, if nothing special then keep him. Otherwise deal his ass, early in the year he was talking about how we would like to play for the Jets.
The defense needs help but the Vikes will have lots of cap room to work on this in the off-season. Keep Tice, cuz he throws down. Promote Scott Studwell and get more creative now that Bennett has improved...
Keep the dome unless the U of M comes up with a attractive offer to build a joint venue.
And with all that we could end up 8-8 even...lol

Alright...if i was GM.

1st off...i would trade Daunte. Yah, he had a dope 1st year in the NFL...since then he hasnt done jack. And yes the O-line has sumthin 2 do with it. But he just aint smart at all...he runs around with the ball unprotected and lets it get stripped (cant even count how many times he fumbled this year). Plus he has a hard time finding open guys down field. He is a dumbass...strait up. So i say trade him 4 some "D" help. I say keep Moss and Bennett and build around those 2 guys. If we cant get a QB in the draft...i say just build up the Defense and promote Bouman (dude has a ROCKET ARM...his arm reminds me of Jeff George's) So i say promote him..if we cant get a decent QB in the draft. Cuz we have all seen that Bouman can get the ball 2 Moss..even in tight coverage. But i say fuck a stadium...cuz u aint gonna b getting 1...if ur team sucks dick. And even if football is huge in this state..ur not getting a stadium unless u win a Super Bowel...simple as that! So thats the shit i would do. But it should b interesting 2 see what they do in this years draft and in the off-season....hopefully do sumthin better then lastyear!!

Hype I agree with you on everything except Tice...he hasn't impressed me at all, in fact he has made some really bad coaching errors that have led to Vikings losses...I think he can be good with discipline, but as far as strategy and coaching decsions, he hasnt done anything that should warrant him a NFL head coaching job. I really can't see this guy leading the Vikings to a super bowl ever, even with better talent.

Re-sign Wally and KG, with KG taking a paycut.
Keep Strickland,Hudson,Woods,Gill

Have some room to sign Ricky Davis(who was on the wolves for one day until Cavs matched his offer) then go after Marbury and or Artest if possiable, if we have to give up Wally for one of them then cool. And trade bait Rasho, if no one takes then keep him for now.
I beleive we have a draft pick this year right?
Well draft a slasher/scorer out of the draft not another big body who takes up space. Or draft some undiscovered overseas player who is like 7'1 and can shoot the lights out from 3 point land. Or lose the rest of the games this year so we can go at Lebron James...lol...For Real though, be a surprise if we make the playoffs this year. But after that go to the city and get the money that was promissed 4 years ago to clean up Target Center to compete with Xcel. And dump the Lynx.
