hmmmm... wally is money.
i was three rows up right in his face when he made that game winner against dallas last month. there arent too many players i would trade him for. he is a solid corner stone in the twolves franchise.

pure shooters like him are hard to find... plus he finishes the break very well. i think he's only averaging almost 20pts a game since his return. you cant front on that.

twolves just need a point gaurd that can handle the ball and dish it off. mike "silk" wilks isnt going to get that job done.

Wally World has been one of the most solid draft picks the Wolves have had in history. But then again thats not saying to much. He is a former All-Star and is one of the top shooters in the leauge. BUT! His defense is some of the worst this side of Vince Carter and is unconsistant.
He is a nice peice to a puzzle but sure if he fits the Wolves puzzle...the upside to Wally he makes GREAT tradebait...and could pull in some nice players this offseason...

Hype is right..
the best part of havin Wally is he is great trade bait. I don't know if we can get as much for him right now as we coulda maybe last summer, but he isnt signed at the max which is an attractive thing to other teams as well. The man can shoot, no doubt, but he is largely inconsitant in his scoring, plays ineffective defense and really disrupts the flow of the offense when he is tryin to do too much. Just like last night. I think we can get some player(s) for him that would fit in better for what the Wolves do on D and on O. I keep sayin Jalen Rose, but doubt that would happen. We need a PG who can dish and shoot and a SG who can lock down on D and be a threat off the dribble.

and did any of you actually watch the mavs vs. wolves game last night? did you see who carried the team down the stretch and made the big clutch shots when they needed them? he is really the only wolves true consistant on a REGULAR basis outside shooter. fuck peeler. he cant hit the broad side of a barn on most nights.

Man! First let me say as I read all of this, my Wally bobblehead is standing above by computer. I love Szczerbs because he has the same kind of fire and passion for the game as KG does. There aren't too many guys in this league that can match the intesity that those two guys play with. Wally is in a slump right now and I could probably nail down the reason. The media has been trying to put a finger on it coming up with all kinds of asenine reasons. But as a diehard Wolves fan myself I noticed Wally's game starting to slip right during the time his wife gave birth to his first child. (During the West Coast road trip starting with Seattle) But nobody has given that a thought. Sometimes life can interrupt baskeball ;) It might take him a while to adjust to being a father and never being home.

casual u bring up some good points, but didnt Kobe have his daughter right before he went off? Im not saying Wally is near the caliber of player Kobe is, but like I said, he is too inconsistant. Next game he will score 22-26 points and get his average between that game and todays. We need him to score consistantly, not one game and off the next. It happens, but the wolves arent good enough talent wise to have their second best player be an inconsistant one.
Wallys passion and fire is his saving grace for me, if he can be a consistant threat, play decent defense, and be in rhythm with his teammates I want him here! but I have yet to see that...the Wolves are hurtin, I hope they start turnin it around reealll soon

When ever i get the chance to im watchin the wolves play and i used to work at the target center and let me tell you them cheerleaders are definetly over paid.

I used to Scope them out as they praticed.
