the only one above the law is the law. it fucking suck you know....people talk about "oh its my right to do this or they cant do that its unjust or ill sue those crooked cops" take it from someone who use to say all those things. to those cops, you aint shit but whatever they stereotype you as. probable cause? bullshit theyll find a reason to search anyone at any time. I challenged a couple cops in court a couple times. you are not ever going to beat the blue coats unless you got cochran. they laugh at you. then the judge and the cops probably go out and laugh about it over some high cholesteral lunch (there is my stereotype)
"god wont budge, im like who ta love who ta trust when even friends steal your stuff and the cops unjust"

Passing Glimpse you ever been pulled over for no reason and have your car searched just because the color of your skin and happen to be in a nice neighborhood at a certain time at time?
I think not. Where do you live? LaLa Land?
Police have some good souls in the force but a majority are racist alcoholic drunk bastards who pick on the poor urban communities. And damn right they call me a asshole, they call me worse everyday when they roll by in there squad car. And its starts with a N.

Look, I haven't ever been pulled over for the color of my skin but I am taking a couple criminal justice and criminology classes. I posted the 'asshole' thing earlier, you must not have read it, here it is...

Anyway the point of this is the type of keywords that are used by police. I did laugh out loud to this one,
Asshole-is anyone who questions police authority.

So I feel that I was using the correct terminology when I wrote that reply.

You are just pissed at something else.

I'm not out to get you at all!! I just want to hear some intelligent answers thats all.

Want to hear a intelligent answer? Can you answer some for me?

1. How come my little brother who is 15 got beat and dragged by Minneapolis Police while riding his bike? They said his bike was stolen when he has owned that bike for years, it was my old bike by the way, so they shoved him off his bike, maced him and beat him down for a few minutes then drove off. Can you answer that?

2. And as far as "being pissed at something else" how can you even put those words in his mouth when he stated a clear case and why he is "pissed" at the local police. And like you stated you have NEVER been a victim of racial profiling. So you don't know the anger US victims of this have towards the Minneapolis Police. The black community has tried for months now since the riots(more soon on the way we promise if things keep up) to come at peace and sit down and talk but we get blown off by Robert Olson who is the biggest profiler of them all!

3. How can the Jordan neighborhood still be one of the most dangerous in Minneapolis but yet have one of the main stations right there on Plymouth Ave? REAL suspect. Cuz they don't care about the community surrounding the station.

4. Police substations are a fucking joke. Example: Lowery and Lyndale. Substation right there but yet that block is hotter than ever?

Oh great police-expert, please answer those questions in a intelligent manner then we might build some respect for you.

Afroteck, your questions are more or less statements. I'm sorry that happened to your brother.

And the neighborhood that you live in must be rough.

I don't consider myself a police expert nor will I ever be, I was just offering a different point of view on this situation. Like I said I'm taking a couple criminology class and that by no means makes me an expert at all!!

And no I have no idea what kind of hatred that you have towards the police due to your incident with raical profiling. Are you sure that it was profiling though? I know that there are some rotten police but sometimes people assume things happened because they are denial of something else.

"Are you sure that it was profiling though?"

What kind of ignorant stupid white comment is that? What am I in denial of????
No Passing, I was speeding down Franklin in my Benz drop top, with a 40 in my hand and firing off my gun in the other while some hooker was giving me headshots while 50 Cent was blasting out my speakers. That's why I got pulled over right?
I have NEVER used drugs, graduated from college and have a great paying job, own a home and have a nice car. I still reside in my community and give back to my "Northside" in different programs and community actions. If anything the police should be kissing my ass not pulling me over every other day and beating up my brother.
You just don't understand and probably never will cuz your a white female who probably lives out in the burbs? Am I right? Read the book "Black Like Me" and maybe you will see the otherside or what's really going on.

Hey, chill on the "white comment" tip. There are white people who live in the real world and understand racial profiling and understand that regardless of why YOU got pulled over, it exists. And there are a few of us who understand (and have maybe even been subjected to) the abuse of power.

I can also recognize that it's a terribly hard job and not ALL police officers are bad.

Afroteck for Mayor of Minneapolis!
Nah I understand what hes saying and I understand the point that you bring up also Emily. But I think the comments that Passing G makes are just...well...dumb! If she has never been a victim of rotten police then how can she even begin to question our statements? That's all I don't think a race card is being pulled on her.

Nah I voted for Marcus Harcus last time.
I wasn't trying to pull the race card just making a point.

most cops are rude, in my experience. i met a nice one helping my ex reshingling her mom's house. we talked all day, and he was cool. i had a female sargent from the mpls. police come into my ethics class once. she explained why cops are hardly ever punished for wrongdoings. part of it was because they're all union and expensive to train, so the state doesn't want to let them go. another part she talked about was that there's a code of silence, especially between the male cops. it pisses me off that they can get away with shit like pissing on a minority, smackin him around and dropping him of in freezing ass weather. that's fucked.

I think that some people are taking my opinions the wrong way. A lot of people including 'whites' get pulled over for speeding and then hate the police. I already said that I felt bad for what happened to your brother. I'm happy that you are living good, that's something everyone wants.

The only reason why I asked if you were sure that your incident was a case of racial profiling was because a lot of people jump to conclusions. Oh by the way the sarcasim was great. As for the denial thing, people know that they did something wrong but don't want to take the blame for it, there for passing it onto who ever caught them. I know that racial profiling happens a lot and it is caused by a the bad officers. I have never been a victim of racial profiling but I have had some bad encounters with law enforcement. I was mad about it too, but then I let it go. Why dwell on things?

For real though I'm just offering an opinion on the situation. I think that it is funny how all I did was place a definition on the board and got some people mad. SORRY!
