So now its the law to wear a seatbelt "click it or ticket". Im not complainen or anything, i dont mind havin to wear my seatbelt but what does that mean for all the people out there driving motorcycles? Its not like they're wearin seatbelts? so shouldnt they be gettin a ticket everytime they go out, they breakin the law.

Whats the deal?

And i heard on the radio this morning that people are freakin out about the whole Canada Weed thing. They just wanna put the same rules into effect that we already have here in MN so why would people object. And were not the only state either, i think they said there were 12 that have the same "laws" that we do.

Whats the deal?

People just need something to complain and argue about, its all bullshit.

ITS A CONSPIRACY!!
Damn the man.

I agree completely....People are idiots!

It's funny that this much fuss can be made over a plant that was here far longer than the humans.I understand not condoning(sp) drug use in children, but come on!!! It's a plant! I just disagree when the government decides what's best for me.Those are personal freedoms. It's my right to rot my lungs with THC.What's the diffence between weed and alcohol...Not much in fact alcohol is worse than weed.If I had a daughter and she was going to a party and she had to pick either drinking or weed.I'd say weed.Atleast when the dude tries to take advantage of her she'll either laugh at him.Ask for some munchies,or fall asleep.

Uhh, what? There's been laws in a ton of states re: fines for not having a seatbelt on for years and years.

The motorcycle comment is silly. In a car you're "protected" by an outer shell on the sides... in a motorcycle, if you were strapped in, that thing is going to be on its side, where your leg would be trapped. Doesn't sound too fucking fun to me.

But.. with regard to seatbelts being mandatory per the State's law - its ridiculous and a horrible infringement on our rights. There should be no such law - I, personally, always rock a seatbelt (sometimes I take it off when getting some roadhead, but that's it). BUT! If some dipshit prefers "comfort", "coolness" or whatever other reason they have over safety, THAT'S ON THEM. Fuckers do stupid shit all the time and its hurting THEM. Perhaps if they have a family and die because of no seatbelt, they're hurting the family, but that's THEIR FAMILY. The government has NO BUSINESS having laws like this.

If someone isn't wearing a seatbelt, they are probably worthy of being called a dipshit, but its nothing that the gov't should fine.

I dont know, but I think maybe its a way to reduce health care costs? Ya'll could be right too!?!
I buckle up, I know a few people who have died in car accidents and Im not gonna be one of em cuz of a stupid little belt wasnt on me.
I like the law myself, now I make sure eveyone is buckled up in my ride.

You can make sure everyone in your ride is buckled up without the government telling you its the law.

If you want to reduce health care costs, then what's next? Should the gov't ban fatty foods (which fuckers being fat fucks is truly one of the biggest reasons for rising health care costs, and will continue to drive them up)?? There's no end to how ridiculous it could get.

At most, the government should protect people (physically), citizens' property, I think help enforce contracts (e.g. judicial system), and protect our country from other countries (which is much different than attacking other countries, mind you).

bang, bang

For a while there I wasn't wearing my seat belt because I thought, if I get into an accident I can die YEAH! But hearing people constantly yelling at me for not wearing one made me put it on. This new law, stupid. It's your right to decide how safe you want to be; basically it's your life in your hands not the governments or anyone else.

What if you're trapped in your car and it is on fire?? Then all those seatbelt wearing goodie goodies will be burned to a crisp. Personally I'll take my chances being thrown from my death trap ride aka 92 Dodge Colt.
